NPO Energomash near Moscow is creating the world's best rocket engines, which are used not only by Soviet and Russian missiles, but also by missiles of foreign partners.
Recently, the RD-191 engine was created here, which in December 2014 lifted the Angara-5 heavy class rocket.
But scientists admit that the possibilities of chemical rocket engines are almost exhausted.
Time will tell how the ships of the future will fly into deep space.
In the meantime, NPO Energomash, together with the Keldysh Center and the Khrunichev State Scientific Research Center, are taking the first steps in the development of impulse engines.
