The film tells about a blind resident of one of the Ural villages - Vasily F. Philippi, about his life and way of life.

The film was filming the following: Vasily F. at home: preparing a meal, the oven heats, listening to the record; hay, repairing the roof, together with a group of villagers takes delivery of the cow, talking with one of the villagers (sinhr.), talks about her life (sinhr.).
