A man comes down the stairs.
Close-up: a smoking man.
Chairs piled up in a pile.
A woman cleans the apartment, wipes the dust.
He takes an old antique chair out of the apartment.
A man pulls an old sink out of a pile of chairs.
Wipes it with gasoline.
He hears a woman enter the basement with a chair.
The woman stumbles, and a pile of empty cardboard boxes falls on top of her.
The man rushes to her aid and throws the cigarette butt on the floor.
A fire starts.
The man tries to put out the fire with his feet.
Fire trucks are responding to the call.
